We stayed at Fairburn Activity Centre Villa and had a wonderful time. The staff, especially Sandy and his team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made an effort to get to know us and provide a warm and personal experience. The pods were clean, basic but comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved having a fire, barbecue, and our own seating/picnic area. The location in the woodland setting was truly surreal, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We also appreciated that the staff accommodated our son's gluten-free dietary needs, even going out of their way to provide him with gluten-free pastries. Fairburn Activity Centre Villa was a great place to unwind and escape stress and anxiety.
Nothing to fault. 😊

We recently stayed at a hotel in Contin for Easter and had a great time. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering a peaceful and tranquil setting. We were pleased to find that the hotel offered a variety of outdoor activities, which was a bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about nearby attractions and amenities.
That there were limited dining options available at the hotel. We had to venture outside of the hotel to find a place to eat, which was a bit inconvenient.

The only thing that could make breakfast better was if there were more options available.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food offered - the three-course meals exceeded our expectations. Despite a small hiccup with the shower, the friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even helping with our wet boots and gloves. We also enjoyed a lovely bike ride in the beautiful surroundings. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the best places to visit and the scenic routes to take. We enjoyed waking up in our cozy pod and having breakfast made for us. Plus, being able to access the main building and its facilities at any time was a bonus.
One thing to note is that the WiFi and phone reception in the pods were not great. However, we personally didn't mind the break from constant emails and enjoyed the tranquility.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the Highlands. It served as a great base for our adventures. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable advice on places to visit. Continental breakfast was included, and we loved the freshly baked croissants and filter coffee. Sitting on the porch in the morning, listening to the birds singing, was a delightful experience.
The room did not match our expectations and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. Another downside was that dogs were allowed in the breakfast area, which was not ideal for those who were eating.
